Raising a Confident Footballer
Raising a Confident Footballer
A Practical Guide for Parents On & Off The Pitch. Confidence doesn’t disappear because of a lack of ability. It shrinks because of pressure. Because of comparison. Because of how mistakes are handled. Because of what happens in the car on the way home. This guide is for football parents who care deeply — but sometimes aren’t sure what to say, when to say it, or whether they’re helping or hurting confidence in key moments. Inside this downloadable PDF, you’ll learn: • What’s actually happening inside your child’s mind after mistakes • Why your sideline reactions matter more than you think • The 10-Minute Car Rule (and why it changes everything) • What to say — and what not to say — after tough matches • How to handle “I want to quit” moments calmly and constructively • How to turn the bench into preparation, not punishment • Why comparison quietly damages confidence — and what builds it instead This isn’t about lowering standards. It’s about sequencing them. Connection first. Growth second. Because years from now, your child won’t remember every result. They’ll remember how football felt. And how safe they felt with you. Instant download. Read in under 60 minutes. Apply immediately this weekend. Price: £9.99

This really made me think about how to improve my interactions directly after a football match and give my son the support and enviroment that will let him grow his confidence. As a kid brought up in the 80's, my personal experience wsa little different to what is being coached now and this guide helped me identify simple things to do just to make Saturday morning more fun. My son loves football and if he contnues to live and breath it, tips and ideas in the guide will only help me support this. I'd really recommend this to anyone with kids starting or progressing in the game, Michael has really helped my son with his confidence and skills in the one to one and group sessions, and the guide has helped me as a parent to continue that progress.
